In the cold light of day my brain is now functioning sufficiently to make me aware of a problem that will likely kill the whole idea. That is, if you put a foreign card in the machine it will immediately recognize that it is not the right card and will offer to format it. If you agree and let it format the card, that will wipe out whatever wireless software was on it. If you do not let it format the card the machine will refuse to use the card and operate as if there was no card at all. The machine formats the card to FAT32, but I assume it also puts some key files on it as well so that the machine will know it is the right card. The only way this might work is if I had a wireless SD card where the wireless software was not accessible to the root filesystem. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
