Mark, Check the list archives for the past couple of months to read all about John's experiences. He tested the hardware by dumping the contents of a soft drink can on the keyboard, and yesterday had a monitor issue. To be continued. FWIW, I've had outstanding results over the past decade or two with Toshibas and am quite happy with my current Dell Latitude that I've had for 3-4 years now with no problems at all.
