Perhaps closer to the second. The Windows machine is my connection to the net and general text editor. The Debian machine might be viewed as a laboratory to investigate: 1. Define an optimal install. [I've done up to 3 installs in a day ;] 2. Experiment with the installer's *user* interface. The combination of the two involve multiple preseed.cfg files and script files. As I write this I am prompted to ask "Is what I really want is for the Windows machine to be a terminal for the Debian machine?" I'm dropping considering WiFi as a means. Ethernet has too many advantages. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
