I've eliminated anything "Wifi" from my "universe of discourse". Searching for 'ad-hoc ethernet' gives tantalizing, if not productive results. [e.g. http://techterms.com/definition/adhocnetwork ] The problem is most online material assumes a restrictive definition of "normal" ;/ For my problem set, any dependence on "WiFi" and/or "internet" ist *VERBOTEN* . Over 50 years ago as an undergrad E.E. student I was often confronted with the mantra "First Principles". I'm beginning to understand why. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
