Ed,

Many Type1 and TTF fonts. In /usr/share/fonts/ are:

100dpi/ ISO8859-2/ PEX/ TrueType/ afms/ encodings/ local/
75dpi/ ISO8859-9/ Speedo/ Type1/ atmfonts/ fonts.cache-1 misc/
CID/ OTF/ TTF/ URW/ culmus/ fonts.cache-2 util/

Many fewer OTF fonts than any others.

         /usr/share/fonts/Type1,
         /usr/share/fonts/misc,
         /usr/share/fonts/CID,
         /usr/share/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled,
         /usr/share/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled,
         /usr/share/fonts/75dpi,

   There's one in each subdirectory.
