That's probably BS. ksh (Korn shell) doesn't have anything special in it
w.r.t. bash.
Why don't you ask IBM? the new AIX5 comes with bash (in fact, it's bundled
with so many GNU utilities that people are -- half-jokingly -- saying it
should be called GNU/AIX).
