hi pluggers,
has anyone successfully implemented php support for
oracle 8i (8.1.6)? i was able to compile php without
incident using the folowing:
./configure --with-mysql --with-oracle=/path/to/oracle
--with-apxs=/www/bin/apxs --enable-sigchild
however, when i activate the module, apache just dies.
i know this is due to php coz when i deactivate it,
apache runs fine. there's not much info from apache's
error logs either.

ps. thanks btw to those who emailed re: my previous
oracle+linux remote installation problem. it turned
out to be an X problem. reinstallation of all xfree86
libs solved it.
