this is a good idea. we already have one for UP Cebu. but not everybody have
Internet access, so yung reply sa mga mails to the list is delayed, very
delayed. ;-)
A CS mailing list is good for real programming and algo topics.
btw, there's only a few IT professionals who are using C at work. so it's
good to get the students involve in the list and also the hackers. ;-)
anyway, pag algo ang topics, nde naman importante ang programming language.
i like the idea of a CS list.

Subject: [plug] Computer Science mailing list?
My Perl mailing list didn't get too popular... but here's another idea...
what do you think about a CS mailing list? The idea comes to me now that
I'm writing some code that uses algorithms in C. I'm reviewing my C for
some
stuff that is too slow for Perl.
I'm thinking of a list that is not particular to any language or platform,
but I think CS people either know C or at least read it and get the idea -
just don't obfuscate too much =)
Devil's advocate - why set up a PH list when there would be some good
global ones? What's the difference?
