Somebody gave me a copy of a program for windows calld HJ Instant-Trans. You
can have it translate a webpage to which it opens a new page, splits your
screen and translates the page to Chinese. What you see on the website is
the same as what you see tranlated, including graphics and links, all in
chinese. Works also with word-processors. I have version 3 which works
English to Chinese but a newer version allows both ways translations.
Simple sentences, its ok but don't bother with complex ones. As the others
have pointed out, better to have somebody translate it for you.

If you're still interested in checking out the product, visit

They also accept translation jobs.

And just to be on topic, the program is for Windows but I don't know if it
will work under Linux's windows emulator. I have yet to get Chinese working
in my linux system. When I tried installing mandrake with Chinese support
it hanged during install. :-(
