hi,
1. some services (listening daemons) are not launched by tcp wrappers
(inetd/xinetd), to find them, you can (install and) use lsof.
2. if your box is connected to more than one networks, you may also use
ipfwadm, ipchains, or iptables to define who has access to which services.
