Again, i would like to put forth the idea that PLUG is a technology
resource, composed of various professionals, students, etc., which are
together in the vision of providing technical support for Linux and
opensource.

With respect to promoting open source in government, that's the role of a
commercial linux/open source company or school to do, and these
companies/schools can tap the technical depth of PLUG either as
individuals or as a group.

To think that PLUG can by itself actually organize and mobilize its
"members" for such an endeavor is wishful thinking at its best, as we are
not a group of organizers or PR consultants or managers.
