In the Release notes of mozilla 0.9.1 -

The section on plugins reads ...
"Plugins
Plugins installed for Communicator 4.x may not be available for Mozilla.
Workaround: install these plugins in the Mozilla Plugins folder."
I guess since you did this already, there must be something else in your
configuration or perhaps your build options the that is keeping the plugins
from working. You may want to check out the url mentioned above to check out
compatibilities and other issues. Or you may want to try starting with a
pre-built binary for your distro.
