But does this answer my question? No. I do not want to get the mail from the
server first. I want to access the mail directly over the net via IMAP-SSL,
which is why I was asking for an IMAP-SSL capable MUA. Pine is pretty good, but
it doesn't support IMAP-SSL. At least not as far as I know.
Next time perhaps we can all READ the question before giving an answer? I've
known about Fetchmail, QMail, Courier, Mutt, Pine, Postfix, et al for quite
awhile now. But they are NOT solutions to the problem I have on hand. I think
my initial post stated what I was looking for pretty clearly. It seems like
more and more of the replies to decent questions posted on the list are simple
shots at the opportunity to show everyone that he/she can "piss the highest",
so to speak (aka: knows about this or that solution more, or knows more
solutions than anyone else).
