But does this answer my question? No. I do not want to get the mail from the 
server first. I want to access the mail directly over the net via IMAP-SSL, 
which is why I was asking for an IMAP-SSL capable MUA. Pine is pretty good, but 
it doesn't support IMAP-SSL. At least not as far as I know.

Next time perhaps we can all READ the question before giving an answer? I've 
known about Fetchmail, QMail, Courier, Mutt, Pine, Postfix, et al for quite 
awhile now. But they are NOT solutions to the problem I have on hand. I think 
my initial post stated what I was looking for pretty clearly. It seems like 
more and more of the replies to decent questions posted on the list are simple 
shots at the opportunity to show everyone that he/she can "piss the highest", 
so to speak (aka: knows about this or that solution more, or knows more 
solutions than anyone else).
