Correct. Why? Because that post was _never meant_ to be a reply to
your post. That was a half-serious reply to Mr. Horatio B. Bogbindero's
post _not_ yours!

Did I mention something to that effect? No. (This talking to one's
self is probably not healthy 8)

Did you see my reply to _your_ post? I mentioned _mutt_ and it's
homepage URL (so you could get more information on it, since you'll
probably not believe me ;). Mutt _is_ an IMAP-SSL capable MUA. You
_don't_ need to download your mail first.

Next time we should probably learn how to follow threads, and how to
quote properly so things _aren't_ taken out of context. If your reader
doesn't support threads, try mutt!

Nope, you don't seem to be that familiar with mutt at least.

Mutt IS a solution to your problem. I thought that was very clear on my
reply _to your post_, apparently not.

As stated in mutt's manual:

To access a folder with IMAP/SSL, you should use
{[username@]imapserver[:port]/ssl}path/to/folder as your folder path

Put that in your muttrc and Voila! IMAP/SSL!

Yeah, tell me about it...

You can't start worrying about what's going to happen. You get spastic
enough worrying about what's happening now.
