Yeah, I know I was "atat". I guess I was just frazzled by the fact that it
worked in compiling the kernel and nothing in the packages installed
post-success seemed to have anything to do with gcc directly. I'm waiting
for gcc and its accompanying libraries to progress a little further
package-wise in the Debian trees before trying it out again. Fortunately
on Debian they can coexist pretty well because of the fact that the
packages are named differently. :)
