just a straight UTP cable will do, whether modem to hub or modem to eth0.

you'll get dynamic IPs for each PC but ONLY the last one that logged onto
the network will get internet access. even though there's no login prompt
for their internet service, destiny can and does track the number of PCs
connected for each customer account. you'll need to setup something like a
proxy server or IP masquerading to share a single internet connection with
more than one computer.

er, why would you want to do anything illegal? :)

btw using a proxy to share your connection among several PCs on ur local net
isn't illegal. you just get to divide the bandwidth destiny gives you among
those PCs; you still get the bandwidth you pay for, you dont actually steal
any additional bandwidth. two or three at a time isn't so bad.

pwedeng pwede, but again, you'll need to setup proxy or IP masquerading,
plus only the server should have a dynamic ip from destiny, the rest of your
PCs have to have local IP addresses. and of course, you'll need two nics for
your server, one for your LAN, one for the cable modem. and while you're at
it, throw in a firewall with your server. if you use LINUX for your server
(there, hindi na masyadong OT), you already have all you need :)

good luck!
