| Hey guys,

| I did it. I finally succumbed to the changes of the time.. I bought a
| cellular phone (I've never had one for ages)
|
| Anyway, I'm just fishing for information as to how I can use the phone in
| conjunction with my Linux box. I've got a Nokia 6190 (free with the
| service). But the North American version of 6190 doesn't have an
| infrared port. So I'm stuck with a serial connection between my Linux box,
| and phone.
|
| So, do you guys know of cool Linux tools I can use with GSM
| phones? I'd appreciate any information. My urgent needs is a software
| that would allow me to interface with my phone's SMS subsystem -- I've
| found out right away that it's not quite fun composing text messages with
| a dinky keypad.
|
| stay cool.
