Just a note: setting socket options from "IPTOS_LOWDELAY TCP_NODELAY" to
"IPTOS_LOWDELAY TCP_NODELAY SO_SNDBUF=65535 SO_RCVBUF=65535" on both Samba
server and client (both running Linux kernel 2.4.7 and Samba 2.2.1a) did
not give any significant gains. Perhaps omitting these makes Samba
auto-detect the Linux box's kernel settings and adjusts itself
accordingly? :)

Any Linux tweaking tips? :)
