Borland did not release Kylix under the GPL. Instead they released a
free-as-in-beer version of Kylix that is restricted to create programs
licensed under the GPL. There is also a detailed matrix with the
differences between the three "flavors" of Kylix that Borland offers in
their website. Follow the link in the Slashdot post to get to Borland's
Kylix webpage. :)
