Maybe your copy of sendmail is trying to reverse lookup the IP address of
the machine connecting to it? If your machine is using the 192.168.x.x
private IPs and you don't have a nameserver handling reverse lookups for
those private IPs then I think a previous post about the main Internet
nameserver handling this private block was meant for you.
