Title: RE: [plug] load balancer
hahaha! i'll bring that up. i'm sure people here would really love to save more money.
FHM photoshoots are only a few steps away from the room. :)

the only problem is that they do not want to invest on a server anymore but on a *pre-built* appliance.

Subject: RE: [plug] load balancer

hi there fritz,

you can use lvs for this!   http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/
for a more balanced distribution of load, you can set it to probe which of the
nodes are available, and decide where to forward requests based on the nodes'
loads.

<ehem>
we at qlinux would be glad to implement this for you,
in exchange for a small favor...
like bringing us along in some of the photo shoots of FHM ???
