Look at Luke Howard's migration tools, it will create LDIF files from your
/etc/passwd and /etc/shadow.
As for Outlook, just have an ACL in your slapd.conf which goes
access to * by * read;
(this is bad.. it lets anyone read stuff from your LDAP repository, but
apparently both Netscape and Outlook use anonymous access to do directory
searches for the addressbook lookup)
I have more LDAP info on my PC but it's off and I'm still at home. If you
need more help mail me back later today. LDAP + nss_ldap + pam_ldap is the
BEST solution I've found so far for handling zillions (50K+) UNIX accounts
without the crap and overhead of flat files.
