Go check your log files in the /var/log directory...it might have grown to an 
unmanageable size due to error...
another possibility is /var/spool/mqueue or /var/spool/mail - spooled 
mailfiles or mailfile of users...
check also /var/tmp or /usr/tmp -- they may contain some temp files as well...
you may deleted them or reduce their size...

If not, then you might have define too small partition for /var or /usr...
