uhmmm you might be better off asking powerbooks... macromind kasi, er... i
once bought a thick book "at a discount" at macromind, thinking i was taking
"advantage" of being a card-carrying member... later that same day i
happened to pass by national and found out their regular price for the same
book to be just the same as macromind's "discounted" price... in otherwords,
it turned out the "discounted" price i got from macromind was just the
regular price in national (and national didn't have a promo at the time)...
just my personal experience, don't know if its a general trend in all their
branches and for all books...
powerbooks, on the other hand, sells books at a *generally* lower price than
national... anyways, the best thing to do, i guess, is to ask around and
find your best deal, wherever it may be...
