Oh I mean without "uid=jijo". When running ldapsearch with "uid=jijo" it
shows all fields of "jijo" with or without userPassword depending on who
asks (which is neat-o!). :)

I'm using the Debian packages libnss-ldap and libpam-ldap, both of which
are Luke Howard's (just checked). My versions:

libnss-ldap 163
libpam-ldap 118

I'll download the latest sources from the PADL website and see if there
are any documents there that aren't in the package's examples.

Would you know if there's a way to test these two? ldapsearch is working
on the box ... but these two can't seem to query. :(
