It's ok. 800x600x16bit @ 85Hz is manageable. Window opaque move is kind of slow though. So on 1024x768 it would be worse. Don't run 32bit, it's way too slow. .. > labels (no "AGP" or "PCI"). Would anyone know if the "Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64 > 32mb" is a PCI video card? Anyone have experience with this and Linux? > (Sounds like Orly to me, hehehe). No, it's AGP. The only decent PCI video card out there is the Savage4 Pro. But the Linux support is less than stellar (you can tell from my comments on the Trio3d/2x above). Usable, but not NVIDIA-class. OTOH I believe Elsa sells a GeForce2MX400 on the PCI bus. It'll cost you a pretty penny (>5000) though. But it's VERY well supported on Linux, you can get Linux drivers straight from NVIDIA. -- Orlando Andico <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mosaic Communications, Inc. _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
