To convert from M$ Word to PS, set up a fake printer on Windows:

1. Create a new printer, use "IBM 4019 LaserPrinter PS17" as the driver.
2. For the port, use "FILE:", which causes it to prompt for a filename
when you print. That file will be a Postscript version of your
document.
3. I name the fake printer "Postscript to file", makes sense and you'll
probably be using it again.

4. Go into Word and print your document to the new printer. It will
prompt for a filename to "print" to. Call it mytext.ps, of course :)
5. Copy that file to the Linux box, and use ps2pdf to turn it into a simple
PDF.

I've done it, and it works fine. As for whether its labas is maganda,
it depends on your original document, right?
