hi marvin,

you can use wvPDF instead to convert from M$ Word.doc format to PDF.
wvPDF is part of a small herd of programs using libwv and can be found
on http://wvware.sourceforge.net
it's also part of some distributions (yes, Debian has it as a
package). :)
