Been there, done that for 2+ years. :) 6 OS in a single drive. Win9x/nt/2000, solaris 2.4 or 8, freebsd, beos and various Linux distros. I think i've posted here in plug on how to do it? But some additional comments with the article: Always use the fdisk (fdisk of windows is a brain dead software to start with anyway.) of linux. Make three primary partitions and one extended partition. My order is start with the inflexible OS to install, which is windows first, solaris second, third (might be freebsd.) is whatever you like, and linux on the extended partition. This might create problems as mentioned in the article, Installing Linux might err that the solaris partition is a linux swap partition, so install with expert mode and keep in mind that solaris is in the 2nd partition. I could elaborate some other comments, but i'm too lazy and this would be a long e-mail. My solution is a bit easier than his, but more trickier. :) regards, --- Andre M.
