Ah yes, the dot-com graveyard. There are warehouses full of hardware from dead dot-coms. Our CEO was in the states recently and FedEx'd home a couple of CISCO routers for the office. Hopefully some of the good stuff finds its way to HMR. One reason you might not want to get your server off of ebay is lack of support.
