IBM's Netfinity line of Intel-based servers runs Linux (and other
x86-based operating systems) quite nicely. I personally know (e.g. have
root access to) a Netfinity 5500 that was running in production non-stop
(i.e. no shutdowns or reboots) for over a year.

Thank $DEITY for hardware RAID, redundant power supplies, fans, and
UPSes!

The 5500 is no longer available. Closest living relative is the
Netfinity 6000R, I think.
