i believe, as an educator, that you cannot, with emphasis on the word CANNOT, teach everything you know to a person. There are some things that, for them to better understand, you'd have to let them read up on for themselves.
for example: like what louie said, probably you can teach him how to install and to do basic configuration <just to make it run> and them let him explore it in his own time and pace. then, just answer his questions, coz, i am sure, napakaraming questions ang mabubuo sa utak nya. just give him a box, and watch him soar... ;) > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of louie miranda > Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2001 4:22 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [plug] teach Linux to my co-worker > > > > > Hey, froi.. i feel din yan minsan.. pero, i believe the more you give the > more you will receive.. > i mean, teach them the basic things *configure/etc* and let them read > books.. > tell them u learn from trial n error and just reading books, etc.. ika nga > nila learn from experience! :P > let them learn din nang sarili nila, pero ikaw not to the point na lahat i > turo mo.. > there are things, na ikaw lang nakaka discover, diskarte mo iba > sa diskarte > nila :) > > ayun, hope this help =)* > > > > > > > louie miranda (axishift.ath.cx) > ------------------------------------------ > Security Is A Series Of Well-Defined Steps > > chmod -R 0 / ; and smile :) > > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2001 4:00 PM > Subject: [plug] teach Linux to my co-worker > > > > Hi, > > > > Pasensisiya na kayo I think this is again off-topic.
