Linux sure taps the youth in a positive way. Anyway, let's remember that the majority of the kernel developers are relatively young. Linus Torvalds as we know is a young genius when he released Linux in 1991. The maintainer of the current VM code Andrea Arcangeli started young too... The youth's creativity will be lost if Microsoft would have them. Such a waste. If only the education sector or even the government realizes that we've got lots of untapped, talented students... it would benefit much if they would contribute in developing the future of the Linux kernel.
