Rather, it looks like a typical military issue GPS unit, albeit a smaller one from the models I used to see. As for the maps, I do not think it would be difficult to for them to survey the area around basilan, from a satellite. Besides, a little more than a decade ago, our archipelago was their area of operations. Also, if we could get detailed maps from CAIDA, how accurate are those maps' sources?
