#Should I go with the VPN solution, what client software can I use for the Windows-based wireless nodes? Any open source ones available? I wonder if CheckPoint SecureRemote client can be used with IPSec/FreeSWAN servers.. hmm. #
Looks like Windows 2k, and XP already have IPSec implementation. If I get this working, I guess can I have a pretty secure Linux-Windows wireless network (with WEP turned off) Combining FreeS/WAN and Windows2000 IPsec http://security.nta.no/freeswan-w2k.html IPSec between Windows 2000, FreeSwan and PGPnet (english) http://tirnanog.ls.fi.upm.es/CriptoLab/Biblioteca/InfTech/InfTech_CriptoLab.htm Now, the only problem I have is how to secure shared folders between wireless peers (other than the gateway). Any suggestions? stay cool. jeff -- -- Jeff Gutierrez Pinoy Ako! May reklamo?
