oh, in that case, you need to check if the username you're using to dialup is a valid username in /etc/passwd > another concern is the multiple logins. when I set the Simultaneous-Use to > 1 it allow multiple connection more than 1. I tried setting it to 0 but no > one can connect saying Error: Multiple Login. to make the 'simultaneous-use' option work, you have to configure some things: 1. /etc/raddb/naslist 2. /etc/raddb/naspasswd (depends if your nas requires it) 3. enable snmp in your nas (if it is supported) 4. /usr/sbin/checkrad (put in your nas' snmp community string, if needed) 5. check if the checkrad script works 6. enable logging in the checkrad script and view its logfile 7. check your firewall rules if it will let snmp replies through hth, -eric -- �.--. �Enrique D.
