My choice would be the
ASUS CUR-DLS 2 x P3 SMP with onboard SCSI. This board uses the Serverworks chipset which is the same used in most Compaq Servers Kinda pricey, though and good luck finding P3s, as they are on their way to extinction. Alternatively, for raw speed i use the ASUS A7M266D 2 x Athlon DDR-133 Nice and fast board, especially if you have those PCI-66MHz RAID/SCSI/IDE cards. Sad to say the normal P4 can't support SMP. And P4 Xeon prices are off the scale. Intel will loose out on the low end SMP market this way.
