you're right. p3 tualatins are easy to SMP, that's why most mobos are for
that.

i think Linux works very well on SMP. has anyone here run Linux on an 8-way
SMP system? we use kernel 2.2 with a 4-way Xeon server and it works very
well. i'm sure kernel 2.4 can handle 8-way SMP with relative ease :)
