I was full of praises for Win2k.. AS COMPARED TO WIN98.

Basically Win2k gives me (some) Unix/Linux benefits and still lets me play
my games. And it's been stable enough for me. I used my dual-boot
workstation for a while as a JSP server for our Bancnet implementation
*hehehe* and it was ok. Apache-Tomcat running on Win2k was quite amusing..

But to be honest.. compared to RedHat 8.. Win2k can't compare even in the
beauty category. :) The only reason I have Win2k around is to play
Warcraft III. But WC3 allegedly will run under the CVS Wine.
