Hi DocMana, I know that it will work with the IR port but I am sick and tired of doing that. Been doing that since my first cellphone with IR (Siemens S25) both with WinCE E-100 Cassiopeia, Palm IIIe, IBM Z50 Workpad, iPAQ 3630 (I think) and Palm m505!
I just got the BT SD for the Palm m505 and a USB BT dongle (I use this to transfer files from my pc to 7650) -- have not tried connecting yet. With the Zaurus - it will surely make me more mobile -- I already have a wired CF Ethernet card for my Zaurus, a CF 56K Modem as well -- I am looking for a WLAN CF card and/or a CF BT card. Frankly, I will not use my phone's GPRS (Smart is NOT smart enough in pricing their GPRS!) but instead use it to send/retrieve SMS messages. :-) Cheers! --o000o-- Prof. Rommel Palma Feria, MSc, SCJP Director, University Computer Center University of the Philippines - Diliman Quezon City 1101 Philippines Voice: +63 2 9268837 Fax: +63 2 9204803 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------- Original Message: From: Pablo Manalastas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thu Oct 24 11:25:08 EST 2002 Subject: Re: [plug] [LONG] Bluetooth and GPRS on the iPAQ On Wed, 23 Oct 2002 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I am interested on how this goes -- am planning to get a BT CF card for > my Zaurus to connect to my 7650. Without buying any accessories, your Zaurus SL-5500 can already talk to your Nokia 7650 via IrDA. Your Nokia can talk to the Net via GPRS. So why buy the expensive BT CF card?
