Speaking of trolls, let's not forget one of the greatest
all time trollers - he was one way before email and the 
term troll was invented: E.W. Dijkstra.

Some his more egregious sayings:

"It is practically impossible to teach good programming
style to students that have had prior exposure to BASIC:
as potential programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond 
hope of regeneration"

"COBOL is for morons"

grepping your fortune files should reveal a lot more...
