If it's a USB device, I think it will probably use the same USB storage
driver as almost every other similar device out there.  The same driver
works with HP CD Writers, the USB floppy drive that came with my IBM
ThinkPad (which requires a driver disk to use under Windows, hah!), USB
ZIP drives, and even one of those generic USB flash readers.  I doubt
there's anything so weird about it, else a sub-driver would probably
have been written by now (as for the HP CD Writer).
