i think we've encountered this problem on San Pablo
(marvin & arvin?)

afaicr, it has something to do with the kernel
(buggy/ unsupported).

and we ended up installing a much lower version of
RH and Mandrake (7.x & 8.x respectively)


btw, what's the spec of your hardware?
