Hello All,
Has anyone successfully cloned an ext3 filesystem
using Ghost? i had quite a scare yesterday when i
restored an ext3 fs onto another drive; at first it
wouldn't boot, so i tried to use rh8.0's rescue mode,
which reported that the filesystem was "corrupt".
After doing a fresh install on another drive, i
managed to access the restored partition -- however,
when i tried to mount it, mount reported that the
journal inode had been cleared/deleted. i had to use
the '-t ext2' option to have it mounted.
This is a bit off-topic, but has anyone noticed
that Norton Ghost actually performs worse on a P4 than
a P3? Strange...
