I'm running them together to see that, actually. We don't get too many viruses floating by, but from what does it seems that ClamAV knows a lot of viruses already, like Klez and other mainstream stuff, but is not as fast as McAfee when it comes to new ones. So yes, ClamAV is decent and is getting better, but no, I wouldn't say ClamAV is ready to replace McAfee uvscan just yet. Hopefully someday... let's see. Or maybe Windows will be obsolete before then?
