im using the bf24 kernel image bcoz i want support for ext3 and other
journaling fs. vanilla kernel image loads a 2.2 kernel image and AFAIK
it doesnt have support for ext3 etc.

hmmmm, "official"? i need more explaination on this. the cd only
includes bf24, vanilla, compact and idepci.
