you can restore your previous mail directory in a newer mozilla by.

Goto

Mail & Newsgroup Accounts Settings->Server Settings

On Local Directory Box specify the full path of your email directory.

Mail Directory of Mozilla usually starts with ...


/home/user/.mozilla/user/tqcv7gyu.slt/Mail



You can put Mail folder anywhere as long as you specify it Local Directory Box everything is OK.


You can now read your mails.
