Hello PLUGgers,

I have been contemplating on writing this a few days ago, and when I finally
got to try to begin writing this (which also means I finally had the time to
write this), I just saw a mail from another LUG with a reintroduction also.

Anyway, I don't know if anyone in this list/group still remembers me. I have
been out of the Linux world for quite a number of years, mainly due to work.
It's just recently that there was nothing to do at work, that's why I
thought of Linux again, which was also timely because now, they (the people
at work) are asking me to setup a file server / repository for our project.
And what better OS to use than Linux!

Actually, I could go longer but it would bore all of you and this would not
be the appropriate place to post this anyway.

I can still see the original people posting here, but whatever happened to
Ambo Berdijo? I don't seem to see any posts from him.

Lastly, has anyone here tried Darwinx86? I tried installing it in my
notebook but I can seem to get XWindows to start. I think I need some IOKit
for my video driver. I don't know if these IOKits are also used in other
BSDs since I'm not familiar with them, and I can't seem to find that much
pages in the net about Darwin for the x86...

Well, that's it for now.

Jimmy
