Yes if you have 2 year old or newer PC. Since the
subject says "Low-end Linux setup", It's actually
not a big deal if it's not ported to XFree86 4.x.
  

true, it's not. =)  and i'm also suggesting JM to use the
3.x.x release. but JM (aka Cyberlizard?) is intending
to use the 4.x.x version.
