hello all,

i'd like to make a local mirror of Mandrake (mainly for the security updates,
but i don't mind mirroring the ISOs also). this is mainly going to be for
internal and local subscriber use. i may make the mirror available to
selected IPs upon request (criteria would be, few hops, local peering
with upstream ISP).

if anyone's done that, how do you do updates? i'd rather do rsync
updates if possible, but wget updates are OK, i guess, or whatever
is best. if anyone has a mirror already, i'd love to update from them
(similar criteria as above, i wouldn't want to stress your outbound link
excessively).

although, maybe that doesn't matter too much if i update at around
2AM, when, generally, bandwidth is fast.
